Introductory Course - 19 May 2006

The Society of Solicitor Advocates is again running its half -day Introductory Course, on the morning of 19th May 2006 at the Law Society of Scotland building in Edinburgh.

Costing £80 this introductory course is aimed at people thinking of becoming Solicitor Advocates and needing to know more about what this involves. Both criminal and civil delgates are welcome. The speakers are drawn from the ranks of experienced solicitor advocates, Law Society representatives, and the bench.

Topics include how to apply, sitting-in, the examinations, the assessment course, the approach to taxations, and practice management issues.
